So it appears that, unsurprisingly, I have had a hole in me since birth. Not the kind one tends to compose overwrought songs about, but an actual gap in my muscle tissue that manifests as a hernia. Over the past couple of years, it's gotten larger, to the point that last week I had surgery to close it. Ouch.
While I'm recovering from surgery, I am unable to play shows for income for a few weeks.
